The rain continued, as predicted, on and on and on, so we decided to just stay another night and chill out at the hostel. My snow boots were soaking wet inside and at present I have no other footwear so I didn’t have a lot of choice! We had lie in, followed by a hearty brunch of eggs, tomatoes and toast, a great late lunch of couscous with veg. and feta, and a supper of leftover bean corn feast….

We wrote our blogs and watched Netflix, snuggled under our blankets in our comfy beds, venturing out in to the town late in the night, cellophane wrapped around my feet to keep them dry, and indulged in a few 1 euro vino tintos (Baileys for Jolene – 2 euros 50 for a giant glass! 🙂 before sleeping sound ready to get back on the road tomorrow!
